Being a Scout Leader in the 1st Kimpton Scout Group I like to go on the air where I can with the Scouts.

MX0HAW - Harpenden and Wheathampstead (Our District)

Whenever we go away on camp we often operate on 80M and see if we can contact some other Groups.

JOTA 

This year we set up a station for JOTA which was great fun and very sucessful we had a good number of Cubs and Scouts attend.

Foundation Licence 

Starting in January 2009 we have around 7 people who would like to study for the Foundation exam.

We will be running a course from the Scout so hopefully there will be a number of new M6 calls popping up in Kimpton very soon
